As a law student, Atty. Usisa served as Team Captain of the San Beda College Alabang team in the Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong. She also competed as an oralist in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. In her final semester, she completed her remaining academic units while serving as Internal Vice President of the student government.

She later returned to the Vis East Moot as an arbitrator and coach, and has served as an alumna coach of the San Beda College Alabang Council of Moot and Debate. She has also held leadership roles in the Council of Moot and Debate.

At Fortun and Santos Law Offices, Atty. Usisa practices as a Junior Associate, drawing on her background in advocacy, commercial arbitration, and legal research.
